For more than 50 years, Sea Harvest Marine, operating as Kailis Marine Engineering, has been a leader in marine engineering, vessel maintenance, and ship repair across Western Australia. From our base in Fremantle’s Fishing Boat Harbour, we deliver high-quality engineering solutions for commercial, fishing, government, and defence vessels, backed by generations of experience and a reputation for precision and reliability.
Our Fremantle facility offers full-service marine maintenance and repair with boatlifting capability up to 200 tonnes, 90 metres of secure jetty wharfage, and dockside access for vessels up to 70 metres in length and 4.5 metres draft. Supported by a team of skilled marine engineers, fabricators, and technicians, we provide complete mechanical, electrical, and fabrication services, from propulsion system overhauls and hull repairs to refits, upgrades, and preventative maintenance.
To meet the growing needs of larger vessels and complex projects, we also operate from our facility at the Australian Marine Complex (AMC) in Henderson. This site allows us to service vessels up to 7,000 tonnes and offers access to world-class dry docking, heavy-lift, and deep-water infrastructure. The AMC compound expands our capability to deliver major vessel refits, defence projects, and commercial engineering works with efficiency, safety, and technical excellence.

BOILER MAKING & FABRICATION
Our highly skilled team are specialists in ship repair with the ability to carry out extensive repairs and maintenance dockside, in water or out. Facilities include fabrication shop; on-site cranes; stores and materials, with wharf side facilities in Fremantle, Henderson, Carnarvon and Exmouth.
Electrical Systems
With a team of qualified specialist marine electricians, Sea Harvest Marine offers a range of services including full installation, rewiring, diagnostics and modifications.
BLASTING & PAINTING (CORROSION CONTROL)
Our team has a strong and practical understanding of coatings in a marine environment. We can advise and provide blasting and coatings for all marine and non-marine applications, including steel, aluminium and fibreglass.
Refrigeration
Sea Harvest Marine leads the way in refrigeration installation and repairs including new refrigeration room design and installation, diagnostics and repairs plus servicing.
Fuel & Lubricants
Supply of Marine Fuels in Fremantle, Carnarvon & Exmouth, as well as delivery to remote areas
FITTING AND MACHINING
With an in-house, on-site team of experienced ship repair engineers and fitters, Sea Harvest Marine offer a wide range of services covering propulsion, hydraulics, fit outs, shaft and propeller servicing.
SHIPWRIGHT
We have a dedicated on-site shipwright workshop with capabilities including new fitouts, wheelhouse construction and upgrades, repairs and modifications and in-water repairs.
